What to Expect

We recommend viewing your images through an in-studio proofing appointment, where your photographs are revealed and reviewed together. This appointment is usually scheduled during your session, based on availability, so it’s already in place ahead of time. Most clients return to the studio within one to two weeks of their session. We set aside approximately one hour for this appointment, giving you time to view your images at an easy, unhurried pace.

A proofing and ordering session is an in-studio appointment where you view your finished images for the first time. Your photographs are fully edited and thoughtfully curated before this appointment, so you’re viewing a finished selection of images. Rather than scrolling through a gallery on your own, we go through the images together, allowing you to view them in a calm, intentional way. During this time, we help you compare favourites, narrow selections, and talk through digital images and any fine art products you may wish to include.

In-studio proofing and ordering is our recommended approach, as it allows you to see your images at their best and make selections with guidance and intention. Most clients find this to be the best way to experience their photographs. That said, we understand that schedules and circumstances vary. If an in-studio appointment isn’t possible, alternative arrangements can be discussed. Our goal is to ensure you have a clear way to view and select your images.
